The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) recently awarded the Design-Build contract for the Ashley U.S. Courthouse in Toledo, Ohio to the team of Bialosky, Whiting-Turner and William Rawn Associates. The $86 million project, part of the GSA’s Design Excellence Program, will make significant improvements to the 1932 Classicism-style courthouse and create a modern 96,000 square foot addition. The Courthouse will contain Bankruptcy, District and Magistrate Courts, Grand Jury Suites, District Clerks, and offices for the US Marshall’s Service and US Attorney’s office.
